The 2022 FIFA World Cup winner will aim to clinch his first trophy in the United States in Inter Miami’s first final appearance in the club’s history.
On the other hand, Nashville SC advanced into the Leagues Cup 2023 final after beating C.F. Monterrey 2-0 in their semi-final encounter.
Led by head coach Gary Smith, Nashville SC annihilated Minnesota United FC 5-0 in their quarter-final clash.
Earlier in the group stage, Nashville SC finished second in the Group G standings with three points from two matches.
They later overcame FC Cincinnati and Club America to reach the Leagues Cup 2023 quarter-finals.
Club Leon are the defending champions of the Leagues Cup, having defeated Seattle Sounders 3-2 in the 2021 final. Cruz Azul won the inaugural edition of the tournament in 2019.
