Fiorentina’s summer acquisition Franck Ribery isn’t happy about his appearance in the latest FIFA 20. Taking to Twitter, the 36-year-old expressed his discontent by sharing a rather shocking screenshot of his character from the game and asked the makers, EA Sports whether they knew who the guy was.

"Played FIFA 20 with my kids not long ago," Ribery wrote. "Hey EA Sports...who is this guy?"

Hoping on to the opportunity, rival gaming company Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) entered the fray, showing off their better graphics and detailed facial modelling.

Speaking of this massive polarity, one of the major reasons behind the difference in graphics is probably the licensing of Serie A. It is PES 2020 who have acquired the official rights of the Italian league which explains why Juventus are knowns as Piemonte Calcio in FIFA 20.

As a result, it is possible that PES makers have invested more time in ensuring the details of Serie A remain accurate.

Whatever the case may be, FIFA, of late, has come under heavy scrutiny when it comes to the players’ graphics. The EA Sports’ game sure has the likes of VOLTA mode to look forward to, but it is PES who scrambles ahead in terms of graphics.

Ribery, meanwhile, isn’t the only player to call out FIFA. The likes of Jadon Sancho, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Riyad Mahrez and even Wes Morgan had expressed their discontent in the past.

On whose bandwagon are you on this football season? FIFA or PES?
