FCG vs BFC Dream11 prediction

The upcoming fixture could decide the fate of FC Goa and Bengaluru FC in the ongoing edition of Indian Super League. While FC Goa managed to end their winless start to the campaign with a 4-3 win against SC East Bengal, Bengaluru FC have lost three and drawn one of their last four games.

The FC Goa vs Bengaluru FC head-to-head record is in favour of BFC. In nine meetings, Bengaluru have five wins while Goa have two. The recent clash between the clubs saw FCG walk home with a 2-1 win.

FCG vs BFC Dream11 team tips for Indian Super League 2021-22

Top tip: Best forward

Cleiton Silva has been at the forefront of Bengaluru’s attack this term and is favoured as the top forward for fantasy players. The Brazilian may have scored just two goals so far but his impressive footwork in the opposition box will certainly appease his 94.8 per cent fantasy owners.

Top tip: Best midfielder

If Bengaluru FC are to break through Goa’s attacking prowess, they will need to put a stop to Alberto Noguera’s movement in the midfield engine room. The Spaniard has dazzled Goa fans with his through-balls and set-pieces, and has registered a pass accuracy of 86.04 per cent so far which makes him an undroppable choice for fantasy players in their midfield selections.

Top tip: Best defender and goalkeeper

All hopes will rest on the shoulders of Alan Costa to help Bengaluru FC register a clean sheet against FC Goa. The Brazilian centre-back has registered 10 tackles, seven interceptions and 17 clearances at the heart of the BFC defence, while contributing a goal and an assist. Costa’s main task on Saturday will be to shut down any approach from FC Goa’s Alberto Noguera.

While neither goalkeeper has fared well so far in the ISL, FCG’s Dheeraj Singh is favoured ahead of BFC’s Gurpreet Singh Sandhu in fantasy football. The 21-year-old custodian - who has conceded 11 goals - has a saves percentage of 47.61 per cent, his counterpart Gurpreet has tallied a saves percentage of 44.44 per cent
