The Copa America 2024 group stage draw will take place in Miami, United States on Thursday, December 7.
Organised by the South American Football Confederation, commonly known as CONMEBOL, the Copa America 2024 draw will be held at the James L. Knight Center from 7:30 PM local time.
For Indian fans, the highly-anticipated event will start at 6 AM Indian Standard Time on Friday, December 8.
The Copa America 2024 will see 16 teams feature in the quadrennial international men's football championship. The 48th edition will be hosted across 14 venues in the United States from June 20 to July 14, 2024. The tournament will be held in the United States for the second time and will be co-organised by CONCACAF.
A total of 10 CONMEBOL teams have secured automatic qualification for Copa America 2024. As many as four CONCACAF teams have qualified from the CONCACAF Nations League 2023-24.
The remaining two CONCACAF spots will be decided by two one-leg playoff games in March 2024. Canada will lock horns with Trinidad and Tobago while Costa Rica will face Honduras.
Argentina are the reigning champions of the Copa America after beating arch-rivals Brazil 1-0 in the 2021 final.

Copa America 2024 draw pots
A total of 16 teams have been divided into four pots (1, 2, 3, 4) of four teams each.
Pot 1 includes Argentina, Mexico, United States, and Brazil
Before the official draw, every team in Pot 1 has been assigned a group.
Defending champions Argentina are placed in Group A while reigning Concacaf Gold Cup champions Mexico are in Group B.
Host United States have been put into Group C as the highest-ranked CONCACAF team in the Fifa World Rankings.
Meanwhile, Brazil are in Group D as the next-highest-ranked CONMEBOL team.
The draw will first place every team from Pot 2 in Group A to D in that order. The same procedure then applies to Pot 3 and Pot 4.
As per the format, there will be four groups of four teams, with each group having one team from each pot.
Pot 1: Argentina, Mexico, United States, Brazil
Pot 2: Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru
Pot 3: Chile, Panama, Venezuela, Paraguay
Pot 4: Jamaica, Bolivia, Canada/Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica/Honduras
