Five-time EFL Cup winners Chelsea will host Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers in the fourth round match of the Carabao Cup 2023-24 at Stamford Bridge in London, England. Young forward Nicolas Jackson netted the match-winning goal in the 50th minute to power Chelsea to the EFL Cup fourth round.
Chelsea previously overcame AFC Wimbledon 2-1 in round two of the ongoing Carabao Cup.
On the other hand, Blackburn Rovers have been impressive in the EFL Cup 2023-24, having scored an astonishing 17 goals in the first three rounds.
The Jon Dahl Tomasson-coached Rovers have already defeated Walsall (4-3), Harrogate Town (8-0) and Cardiff City (5-2) to book their place in the fourth round of EFL Cup.
However, the Riversiders will head into the Chelsea game after going down 0-1 to Swansea City in their last match in the ongoing Championship.
