Brazil will clash with Venezuela in a FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers clash at the Arena Pantanal in Cuiaba, Brazil. The BRA vs VEN match will start at 6:00 AM Indian Standard Time (IST) on Friday, October 13.

The Brazil national football team beat Peru 1-0 in their previous match to maintain their winning streak in the qualifiers. Earlier, Brazil, coached by Fernando Diniz, opened their qualifiers campaign with a thumping 5-1 win over Bolivia.

Despite Brazil’s narrow win over Peru, what will worry the Selecao coach is the way his team struggled, requiring a last-gasp goal from Marquinhos to claim all three points.

Brazil, with six points from two matches, top the CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers standings on goal difference ahead of reigning world champions Argentina.

Neymar and Rodrygo top the goal-scoring charts for Brazil, having scored a brace each in the team’s win over Bolivia.

Venezuela, meanwhile, are placed fifth with three points in the CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers standings. Coached by Fernando Batista, Venezuela opened their campaign with a 0-1 loss to Colombia but beat Paraguay 1-0 at home in their second World Cup 2023 qualifier.

For Venezuela, only Salomon Rondon has managed to find the net in the ongoing South American World Cup 2026 qualifiers.
