Match 31 of the Indian Super League 2021-22 season will see Bengaluru FC (BFC) taking on ATK Mohun Bagan (ATKMB) at GMC Athletic Stadium on Thursday, December 16.

BFC vs ATKMB Dream11 prediction

To everyone’s surprise, title favourites ATK Mohun Bagan have struggled for results this season. The last season’s finalists have won a mere two of their five games so far and sit sixth in the ISL 2021-22 points table

Bengaluru FC, on the other hand, have done even worse. The Blues have registered a solitary victory in six games and are without a win in their last five matches (D1, L4). Come Thursday, we expect ATKMB to get their third win of the season.

BFC vs ATKMB Dream11 tips for Indian Super League 2021-22

Top tip: Best forward

BFC forward Cleiton Silva is a man in form at the moment. The 34-year-old Brazilian has netted three goals so far in the campaign while accruing a whopping 278 fantasy points. Note that Silva has made it to the Dream Team in five of his last six matches this season.

Top tip: Best midfielder

ATKMB’s Hugo Boumous is an outright choice for the midfielder’s slot. The former Mumbai City FC player has accumulated 195 fantasy points from five games so far while making it to the Dream Team on two occasions. While his recent form is a concern, he is likely to play a big role on Thursday.

Top tip: Best defender and goalkeeper

ATKMB center-back Pritam Kotal is in blistering form this season. The 28-year-old defender has accrued 239 fantasy points from five games so far which is the best return among any defender. Selected by 95.87 per cent of fantasy users, Kotal is a strong recommendation for this game.

Amongst the goalkeepers, BFC’s Gurpreet Singh Sandhu would be our pick. The 29-year-old stopper is likely to be tested more often by the ATKMB attack, making him prone to more saves and thus accumulating more fantasy points.

BFC vs ATKMB probable playing XI

BFC playing XI (probable): Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (goalkeeper), Naorem Roshan Singh, Pratik Chaudhari, Alan Costa, Ashique Kuruniyan, Jayesh Rane, Bruno Ramires, Suresh Singh Wangjam, Prince Ibara, Cleiton Silva, Sunil Chhetri (captain)
