Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal SFC will host Indian football club Mumbai City FC in their third Group D fixture of the AFC Champions League 2023-24 at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Monday, October 23. The Al-Hilal vs Mumbai City ACL 2023-24 match will kick off at 11:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).

Under manager Jorge Jesus, Al-Hilal head into the clash after beating Iranian outfit Nassaji Mazandaran 3-0 at the Azadi Stadium in Tehran in their previous AFC fixture.

Earlier, Al-Hilal were held to a 1-1 draw by Uzbekistan side PFC Navbahor Namangan in their opening fixture.

With four points from two matches, Al-Hilal are currently on top of the Group D standings.

On the other hand, Indian Super League (ISL) heavyweight Mumbai City will aim to bounce back after losing both their group matches in the ongoing AFC Champions League.

Des Buckingham’s Mumbai City began their ACL 2023-24 campaign with a 0-2 defeat against Nassaji Mazandaran at the Balewadi Stadium in Pune.

The Islanders later went down to Navbahor 0-3 in their second group match away from home in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Having yet to register a point, Mumbai City are currently languishing at the bottom of the Group D standings.

Ahead of the marquee clash, Al-Hilal have suffered a massive blow as their talisman Neymar has been ruled out of the Mumbai City FC game.

Meanwhile, this will be the first-ever meeting between Al-Hilal and Mumbai City.
