Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr FC will lock horns with familiar opponent Al-Fayha FC in the first leg of their AFC Champions League 2023-24 round of 16 clash at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, February 14.
The Al-Fayha vs Al-Nassr ACL 2023-24 match will kick off at 11:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST). Live streaming and telecast of AFC Champions League 2023-24 Round of 16 will be available in India.
Under manager Luis Castro, Al-Nassr secured their place in the ACL 2023-24 knockouts after finishing at the top of the Group E standings with 14 points from six matches.
Led by their talismanic captain Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nassr remained unbeaten in the group stage with four wins and two draws.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo and his men will aim to bounce back after losing to arch-rivals Al-Hilal SFC 0-2 in the Riyadh Season Cup.
On the other hand, Saudi outfit Al-Fayha finished second in the Group A standings to book their place in the Round of 16.
Al-Fayha registered three wins and as many draws in the group stage under Serbian manager Vuk Rašović.
Meanwhile, Al-Fayha have struggled in the Saudi Pro League this season and are currently placed 14th in the standings.
With just four wins in 19 matches, the Vuk Rašović-coached side is currently 27 points behind Al-Nassr, who are placed second in the SPL 2023-24 standings.
Going by recent form, Al-Nassr will start as favourites against Al-Fayha in the first leg of ACL 2023-24 Round of 16 clash.
Al-Fayha vs Al-Nassr head-to-head
Al-Nassr have a dominant head-to-head record against Al-Fayha in all competitions, winning eight of the 13 matches that they have played so far. Al-Fayha registered just a solitary victory while four games ended in draws.
The last time these two sides met, Al-Nassr beat Al-Fayha 3-1 in the Saudi Pro League 2023-24 at the King Fahd International Stadium in October.
