Qatari football club Al-Duhail SC will host Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr FC in their fourth Group E fixture of the AFC Champions League 2023-24 at the Khalifa International Stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar on Tuesday, November 7.
The Al-Duhail vs Al-Nassr ACL 2023-24 match will kick off at 11:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).
Led by their talismanic captain Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nassr will head into the clash brimming with confidence after beating Al-Duhail 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller in their last ACL match at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Brazilian footballer Talisca put Al-Nassr in front in the 25th minute before Sadio Mane (56’) doubled their lead at the start of the second half.
Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo continued his impressive form as he made it 3-0 in the 61st minute.
However, Al-Duhail soon bounced back in the game with double strikes from Ismail Mohamad (63’) and Almoez Ali (67’).
Fourteen minutes later, Ronaldo netted his second of the match to give Al-Nassr a 4-2 lead.
While Michael Olunga reduced the deficit for Al-Duhail, Al-Nassr maintained their winning streak in the competition with a 4-3 win at home.
Having defeated Iran’s Persepolis F.C 2-0 and Tajik football club FC Istiklol 3-1 in their opening two group matches, Al-Nassr are placed on top of the ACL 2023-24 Group E standings with nine points from three games.
On the other hand, Al-Duhail will look to return to winning ways and are currently placed third in the Group E standings with just a solitary point from three matches.
Earlier, Al-Duhail were earlier held to a goalless draw by FC Istiklol in their opening ACL fixture before going down to Persepolis F.C 0-1 in their second group match.
Meanwhile, all eyes will be on in-form Ronaldo, who has already scored three goals in as many matches in the ongoing AFC Champions League. He has also netted 12 goals in the Saudi Pro League 2023-24 season.
