Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United set a new club record on Saturday following their goalless draw against rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. United haven't been on the losing side away from home since their 2-0 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield on January 19, 2020. With this draw, the Red Devils have stretched their unbeaten away run to 18 games in the Premier League. Their incredible form away from home has lasted more than 12 months and the current roster has surpassed the previous record of 17 consecutive PL games without a defeat set by the club's infamous 1999 treble winners.

Here's how United's record has been so far:

United's brilliant run away from home started with a 2-0 win over Chelsea in mid-February last year, and the team has picked a whopping 44 points since. On the road, they have won 13 and have drawn just five; against Everton, Tottenham, Leicester City, Liverpool and Arsenal. What further makes United a total menace away from home is their ability to churn out points from losing positions. They have, in fact, made a comeback from being at least one goal down in nine of their 18 away outings, and have won seven of them.

Premier League away record since February 2020
Team Games Played Won Draw Lost Points
Manchester United 18 13 5 0 44
Everton 16 9 1 6 28
Manchester City 16 8 3 5 27
Tottenham 16 7 6 3 27
Leicester City 17 7 5 5 26

Their incredible form has seen them pick 23 points from losing positions, which is more than double of any side in the league. Needless to say a certain Bruno Fernandes has played a huge role in their fortune over the course. Add Edinson Cavani into the fray, and the team averages more than two goals per game. During the course, Manchester United have scored 38 goals.

A further bifurcation explains that United have scored 15 of their 38 away goals in the first half and 23 in the second. Note that only four goals have been scored through penalties during the period. At the same time, the team has kept the other end tight as well, as they have conceded just 14 goals during the period.

Speaking of Fernandes, the Portuguese has been excellent for United. He has, in fact, scored 23 of United's 38 goals away from home and has provided seven assists; that constitutes a contribution in 50% of goals United have scored.
