FC Goa (FCG) will take on Mumbai City FC (MCFC) in match 103 of Indian Super League 2021-22 at the GMC Athletic Stadium in Bambolim, Goa on Saturday, February 26. The match will start at 9:30 PM IST.

FCG vs MCFC Dream11 prediction

With three games left, Mumbai City FC eye maximum points from the game against FC Goa to keep their semi-final hopes alive. The defending champions have 28 points from 17 matches and are coming off a narrow 1-0 win over rock-bottom SC East Bengal.

Goa, on the contrary, are out of the race to qualify for the ISL 2021-22 playoffs. The Gaurs lost their last match 2-3 to Hyderabad FC and thus failed to make it to the playoffs of the Indian Super League for the first time since 2016.

The head-to-head record between FC Goa and Mumbai City FC is on even terms, with both teams winning seven and drawing five of their 19 meetings so far. MCFC are unbeaten in their last five matches against FCG and thus start as favourites on Saturday.

FCG vs MCFC Dream11 team tips for Indian Super League 2021-22

Top tip: Best forward

Jorge Ortiz has scored the most goals for FC Goa in ISL 2021-22 with eight goals and five assists in 14 matches. The Spanish forward has earned 811 fantasy points and will look to trouble a MCFC defence that has kept just three clean sheets in their last 10 games.

Top tip: Best midfielder

Mumbai City FC’s Ahmed Jahouh is likely to be FC Goa’s biggest tormentor from the midfield engine room. The Moroccan has been one of the key goal contributors with three goals and seven assists in 15 games. He seems poised to produce a top performance against Goa and bolster his fantasy tally of 913 points.

Top tip: Best defender and goalkeeper

Among the defenders, Rahul Bheke can be a handy pick in fantasy football teams. Bheke has contributed two goals and two assists besides registering 20 interceptions, 53 clearances and 18 blocks in 16 matches. The Indian defender, who has amassed 583 fantasy points so far, comes at a cost of 8.5 credits.

For the goalkeeper spot, Mohamad Nawaz should be the preferred choice over FCG’s Dheeraj Moirangthem. Nawaz has kept four clean sheets this season while making 33 saves. With 367 points to his name, Mohamad Nawaz will look to pick up a second clean sheet in a row for the first time this season.
