Are you ready for yet another action-packed week of fantasy football? If yes, the midweek fixtures in the UEFA Champions League and the encounters of the Indian Super League are expected to leave you wanting for more.

We are here to make your lives simpler by providing you with the top picks who will garner you the maximum points and uplift your spirit for the upcoming weekend. Two European giants will collide in Madrid when PSG lands on the shores of Spain to face Real Madrid while Barcelona host Borussia Dortmund.

In the ISL, Jamshedpur FC and NorthEast United are lined up against each other while table-toppers ATK are tipped to get the better of a struggling Mumbai City FC. The fantasy managers of Nostragamus have an eventful week panned out for them and these five choices are surely what they should seek to emerge triumphant.

KARIM BENZEMA

Club: Real Madrid

Match: Real Madrid vs PSG

La Liga’s top scorer so far with 10 goals and four assists in his bag, French forward Karim Benzema has hit top form this season. The 31-year-old has hit five goals and assisted two times in the last three encounters in all competitions, making him an indomitable force in attack for Los Blancos. His awareness on the pitch has also boded well for young players like Rodrygo and Ferland Mendy who seems to be looking up to Benzema for tactical mileage on the pitch.

With PSG up next in the Champions League, Santiago Bernabeu is all set for yet another magical night from the French magician.

FERRAN COROMINAS

Club: FC Goa

Match: Kerala Blasters vs FC Goa

The Spanish centre-forward has been a majestic revelation for FC Goa this season as well, netting three goals in the first four encounters of the season. Having played the entire length of all four matches this campaign, Ferran Corominas has been the recipient of the Golden Boot in the past two seasons, scoring 34 goals in 40 encounters.

The 36-year-old’s late penalty against Bengaluru FC and a solo goal in a blistering goal feast against Mumbai City FC helped FC Goa to sustain their unbeaten streak in the ISL. The Spaniard should undoubtedly be one of your favourites in your fantasy team for the week.

HARRY KANE

Club: Tottenham Hotspur

Match: Tottenham Hotspur v Olympiacos

Four goals in four Champions League encounters has set England’s number nine, Harry Kane on a path to score his first European goal under the new gaffer Jose Mourinho. Kane’s prolific goal scoring form from the international break continued over the weekend when he scored his side’s third goal against West Ham United.

Kane has been leading the charts for Spurs in the attack and with an intermittent defensive line up that the team from North London has been putting up with, their attacking prowess will be realized only if Kane is at his full strength. He scored in Spurs’ opener in the Champions League against Olympiacos away from home and expect a similar response from the Englishman when the Greek side pay a visit.

ROY KRISHNA

Club: ATK

Match: ATK vs Mumbai City

Coming into the encounter against Mumbai City FC on the back of a match-winning performance by scoring two and assisting one against Jamshedpur FC, ATK’s Fijian star Roy Krishna has set the ISL ablaze with his match-winning skills. Krishna is usually deployed on the right and ATK have been running riot in the ISL courtesy of his clinical finishing.

Krishna credits his tenure at Wellington Phoenix FC where he enjoyed a spellbinding form, netting 18 goals in his 26 outings in the 2018-19 season for his subliminal show in the ISL. ATK will be expecting him to come through once again against a stuttering Mumbai City FC side.

XISCO HERNANDEZ

Club: Odisha FC

Match: Chennaiyin FC vs Odisha FC

After playing a pivotal role in Bengaluru FC’s title charge last season, Xisco Hernandez is up and running for Odisha FC in the ongoing season as well. Scoring two goals in the tournament so far, the Spanish winger expects nothing less than a goal galore against a struggling Chennaiyin FC.

His prominence has only risen since his arrival at the club, who currently lie in all sorts of conundrums and have a list of defensive problems to deal with. Hernandez plays an instrumental role on the right flank with his wisdom proving beneficial for the club.
