Both teams showed good form in ISL 2022-23 season and faced off in the ISL 2022-23 semi-finals as well. ATK Mohun Bagan FC won the semis on penalties after the tie ended 0-0 on aggregate.
However, Hyderabad FC and ATK Mohun Bagan’s run in the Indian Super Cup ended in the group stages.
Juan Ferrando, the ATK Mohun Bagan coach, and Hyderabad FC manager Manuel Marquez Roca are both likely to have a fully available squad to choose from for the game.
For ATK Mohun Bagan, their Australian striker Dimitri Petratos will be a key player. He scored 12 goals for his team last season. For Hyderabad, their Nigerian talisman Bartholomew Ogbeche, who netted 10 goals in the season will be a marked man.
