With the official Valorant competitive circuit for 2023 reaching its business end, an OFF//SEASON tournament named the Valorant EMG League 2023 started on July 20.
Organised by StarLadder, the Valorant EMG League 2023 is part of the EMG Gaming Festival 2023, scheduled to be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
One of the most popular esports video games, the EMG Gaming Festival 2023 will take place from July to September.

The Valorant EMG League 2023 is being operated across three regions - South Asia, Levant and North Africa, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Iraq.
Valorant EMG League 2023 schedule and dates
The Valorant EMG League 2023 is divided into four stages. The Valorant EMG League 2023 stages include EMG Open Series 2023, EMG Pro Series 2023, EMG Legends Cup LCG 2023 and EMG Legends Cup 2023. The first two stages are held separately in each of the three zones, while the last two will take place on LAN in Dubai.

Valorant EMG League 2023 teams
Aster Army, Reckoning Esports, Orangutan, TrueRippers Esports and Medal Esports are the five directly invited teams from South Asia that will participate in EMG Pro Series 2023.
The seven directly invited teams from Levant and North Africa that will feature in EMG Pro Series 2023 are Geekay Esports, Nasr Esports, Onyx Ravens, Fate Esports, Team Occupy, GNG Esports and Team RA'AD.
Triple Esport, Underground Gaming, Fraggerz, Esports Xo, Al Mooryaat Esports club, Team Falcons and Twisted Minds are the seven directly invited teams to compete in EMG Pro Series 2023 from GCC and Iraq.
Valorant EMG League 2023 prize pool
The Valorant EMG League 2023 total prize pool is $39,500 USD (INR 32,40,995) and has been split between various stages.
While EMG Pro Series 2023 in each of the three regions has a prize pool of $6,500 USD, EMG Legends Cup LCG 2023 will offer a prize pool of $2,000 USD.
The EMG Legends Cup LCG 2023 has a total prize pool of $18,000 USD.
Valorant EMG League 2023 Format
As per the EMG Open Series 2023, there are no restrictions on the number of teams from a region for the open qualifications. The EMG Open Series 2023 qualifiers will be held in a single-elimination bracket till there is only one team left. The semi-final and the MG Open Series 2023 championship final will take place in best-of-three affairs. The only remaining team from each region will emerge as the winner before advancing to the next stage.
In the EMG Pro Series 2023, a total of eight teams including seven directly invited teams and one qualifying team will feature in this stage. These eight teams will be divided into two groups of four sides each. According to the EMG Pro Series 2023 schedule, each team will play the other side in the group once in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the EMG Pro Series 2023 playoffs. The semi-finals will be played in a best-of-three series, while the EMG Pro Series 2023 championship game will be held in best-of-five series. The EMG Pro Series 2023 regional winners will qualify for the EMG Legends Cup 2023, while the respective runners-up will advance to the EMG Legends Cup LCG 2023.
In the EMG Legends Cup LCG 2023, three regional runners-up will clash against each other in a round-robin format. Every game will be a best-of-three series. The EMG Legends Cup LCG 2023 winner will qualify for the EMG Legends Cup 2023.
Four remaining teams from three regions will compete in the EMG Legends Cup 2023 in front of a live audience in Dubai. The EMG Legends Cup 2023 semi-finals will be a best-of-three affair, while the EMG Legends Cup 2023 championship game will be played in a best-of-five series.
