The highly-anticipated VCT Masters Madrid 2024 will start on March 14 and go on till March 24 in Madrid, Spain.
Organised by leading eSports tournament organiser Riot Games, the VCT Masters Madrid 2024 will be the first of three global Valorant Champions Tour events of 2024.
Some of the world’s best Valorant teams will compete for the coveted title to be hosted in front of a live audience at the Madrid Arena.
VCT Masters Madrid 2024 schedule and format
The VCT Masters Madrid 2024 will be held in two stages - the Swiss Stage and the Playoffs.
The Swiss Stage will see eight qualified teams from the Americas, EMEA, Pacific and China compete from March 14-18.
Earlier, the top two teams from VCT Americas, VCT EMEA, VCT Pacific and VCT China sealed their spots for the VCT Masters Madrid 2024.
In the Swiss Stage, teams will need to register two victories before they suffer two losses across a maximum of three rounds to advance from Swiss. Each match will be played in a best-of-three series.
Teams who win the opening, will move up and those who lose will find themselves in elimination matches. Between each round, two fully random draws will decide the matches - and from there, same region match-ups will be allowed.
The top four teams will advance to the playoffs.
The VCT Masters Madrid 2024 playoffs will be held in a double elimination format from March 21-24.
All matches will be in a best-of-three series except the Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final, which will be played in a best-of-five series.
