The Upthrust Esports India Rising Series 2024 BGMI tournament will start on March 5 and run till March 28.
The new Battlegrounds Mobile India event will be the third BGMI tournament for the 2024 season organised by Upthrust Esports.
Upthrust Esports India Rising Series 2024 BGMI schedule and format
The Upthrust Esports India Rising Series 2024 BGMI will begin with the open qualifiers. As many as 2048 BGMI teams will take part in the open qualifiers. These teams will be divided into 128 groups of 16 teams each.
There will be one match per group and the top eight teams from each group will advance to Round 1.
In the first round of open qualifiers, a total of 1024 teams will compete. These teams will be split into 64 groups of 16 teams each. The top four teams from each group will progress to Round 2.
A total of 256 teams will participate in the second round of the open qualifiers. These participating teams will be divided into 16 groups of 16 teams each. There will be two matches per group and the top four teams from each group will advance to Round 3.
In the third round of open qualifiers, a total of 64 teams will take part. These teams will be split into four groups of 16 teams each. At this stage, there will be three matches per group and the top four teams from each group will progress to Round 4.
A total of 16 teams will compete in Round 4 of open qualifiers. These teams will be placed in one group. Four matches per group will take place and the top eight teams will qualify for the quarter-finals.
The quarter-finals stage will see eight invited teams and eight qualified teams compete. Each team will play six matches. The top six teams will qualify for the League Stage. The detailed format of the league stage will be revealed later by the organisers.
