Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown Season 2 underway - get schedule, teams and watch live streaming

The Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown Season 2 began on May 6 and will run till May 29. 

Organised by Upthrust Esports, the Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown Season 2 is the fifth Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) event of the 2024 season.

The Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown Season 2 will be staged in several phases.

The BGMI tournament started with the Redemption Week which saw 32 teams including 26 invited teams and six qualified teams battle from May 6-8. 

These participating teams were divided into four groups of eight teams each.

Group A featured Team SouL, GodLike Esports, Team Zero, Alibaba Raiders, Team Aaru, Team Psyche, WindGod Esports and WSB Gaming. 

8Bit, Global Esports, TWOB, Team Tamilas, Reckoning Esports, THW Esports, GENxFM Esports and Medal Esports were placed in Group B.

Group C included Carnival Gaming,  Hydra, Team Destro,  Gujarat Tigers, Vasista Esports, Revenant Esports, Team Forever and Team Secret.

The likes of TeamXSpark, Entity, Orangutan, Enigma Gaming, Redzone Esports, 4King Esports, Marcos Gaming and Team UZU were clubbed in Group D. 

The Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown Season 2 Redemption Week was held across three matchdays. 

Reckoning Esports, Team SouL, Carnival Gaming, Enigma Gaming, Team Forever, Alibaba Raiders, Team Tamilas and Redzone Esports were the top eight teams that qualified for semi-finals.

The remaining 24 teams proceeded to Eliminator Week held from May 13-15. The top 16 teams after three matchdays will qualify for semi-finals.

The semi-finals will be staged from May 20-22 featuring eight teams from the Redemption Week and 16 teams from the Eliminator Week. The top 16 teams will qualify for the Grand Finals.

The Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown Season 2 Grand Finals will be held from May 27-29. 

The team finishing on top of the standings after all matches will clinch the Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown Season 2 title.
