The Upthrust Esports BGMI India Rising Series 2024 began on March 5 and will run till March 28 in India.
Organised by Upthrust Esports, as many as 32 teams participated in the Upthrust Esports BGMI India Rising Series 2024.
Carnival Gaming, Global Esports, Team Zero, Reckoning Esports, Hydra Esports, Blind Esports, Medal Esports, TeamXSpark, Revenant Esports, Orangutan, Enigma Gaming, Chemin Esports, Team Tamilas, Team Forever, Team Soul, Gujarat Tigers, Gods Reign, Big Brother Esports, Team Robin, Uprising Rivals, GodLike Esports, Team 8bit, Entity Gaming, WSB Gaming, WindGod Esports, K9 Esports, Team Aaru, TCW Official, Team Psyche, GenXFm Esports, R Esports and Marcos Gaming are the teams that took part in the title race.
The Upthrust Esports BGMI India Rising Series 2024 has been staged in several phases - Eliminator Week, Week 1 and 2 Finals and the Grand Final.
In the Eliminator Week, these 32 participating teams were divided into four groups of eight teams each.
Group A featured Team Iqoo Soul, Carnival Gaming, Gods Reign, WindGod Esports, WSB Gaming, Team Tamilas, Team Zero and Team Aaru.
The likes of GodLike Esports, Entity Gaming, Medal Esports, Team 8bit, Blind Esports, K9 Esports, Uprising Rivals and TCW Official are in Group B.
Group C comprised Revenant Esports, Gujarat Tigers, Chemin Esports, Hydra Esports, Team Forever, Team Robin, Team Psyche and GenXFm Esports.
TeamXSpark, Orangutan, Global Esports, Reckoning Esports, Big Brother Esports, Enigma Gaming, R Esports and Marcos Gaming were clubbed in Group D.
The Eliminator Week was held in a round-robin format from March 5-10 with top 24 teams qualifying for Week 1 and 2.
Each qualified team competed in the Week 1 qualifiers with the top 16 teams advancing to the weekly finals.
The League Stage’s overall standings will determine the final 16 teams that will battle in the Grand Finals from March 26-28.
The Grand Finals will be a three-day affair with each team playing a total of 18 matches, six matches per day.
The team finishing on top of the standings after all the matches will clinch the coveted title.
The Upthrust Esports BGMI India Rising Series 2024 has a total prize pool of INR 15 lakh. The winners of the Week 1 and 2 finals will receive INR 1.5 lakh each while the champion in the Eliminator Week will bag INR 1 lakh.
Furthermore, the most valuable player (MVP) in the Eliminator Week will get INR 20,000 while the MVP in Week 1 will receive INR 25,000.
