The nominees for The Game Awards 2023 have been revealed by Geoff Keighley, the host of the event that’s slated to be held on December 7 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, United States.
The Game Awards is an annual awards ceremony that honours and recognises achievements in the eSports industry.
Established in 2014, the upcoming edition of the illustrious award ceremony that recognises the top achievements in the video game industry will have 30 categories.
The nominees for all these categories have now been revealed and fans can now go and cast their votes for their favourites on the official website of The Game Awards.
Overall, the Game Awards 2023 nominees feature 112 different games, individuals, teams and events.
All nominees are selected through a global jury of people that also includes more than 100 media publications as well as influencer outlets
Fans who are eager to vote for their favourites ahead of The Game Awards 2023 can do so by creating on account on the event’s official website before casting their votes.
The process involved in determining all the winners is called blended votes where the jury’s votes account for 90 per cent of the voting weight while fans make up the remaining 10 per cent.
