The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023 began on November 2 and will conclude on December 10.
Organised by Krafton, Level Infinite and VSPO, the PMGC 2023 is the final event of the 2023 PUBG Mobile competitive season.
A total of 50 top PUBG teams are competing in the ongoing PMGC 2023.
As per the PMGC 2023 format, as many as 48 teams competed in the league stage of the tournament held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
These 48 teams were divided into three groups (namely Group Green, Group Yellow and Group Red) of 16 teams each.
Each participating team in every group played 24 matches in the league stage. The top three teams from each group advanced to the PMGC 2023 Grand Finals, while teams placed from fourth to 11th moved to the Survival Stage.
In the PMGC 2023 Survival Stage, as many as 24 teams have been divided into three groups of eight teams each.
Each group will compete in six matches per day for a total of 18 matches across three days in a round-robin format.
The top 16 teams will advance to the Last Chance stage. The last eight-placed teams will be eliminated.
In the PMGC 2023 Last Chance stage, a total of 16 teams will compete in 12 matches to determine the top five teams that will qualify for the Grand Finals. The bottom 11 teams will be knocked out of the tournament.
Two invited teams and the 14 qualified teams from the league stage will battle in the PMGC 2023 Grand Finals to be held in Istanbul, Turkey from December 8-10.
The PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 has a total prize pool of a whopping $3 million USD.
