Overwatch League 2023 Playoffs and Grand Finals: Know schedule and watch live streaming

The Overwatch League 2023 Playoffs are slated to be held from Thursday, September 28 to Saturday, September 30. Meanwhile, the Overwatch League 2023 Grand Finals will take place on Sunday, October 1.

Developed by Blizzard Entertainment, the eSports video game Overwatch is a multimedia franchise that’s based on a series of online multiplayer first-person shooter (FPS) video games.

The top eight regular season teams will square off against each other in the playoffs for a berth in the Overwatch League 2023 Grand Finals.

Both the playoffs and the grand finals will be held at Toronto, Canada’s Mattamy Athletic Centre, which is the same venue that staged the 2022 Summer Showdown LAN tournament.

Overwatch League 2023 playoffs and grand finals format, teams, and groups

As many as eight teams will be participating in the Overwatch League 2023 playoffs. These eight teams will be divided into two groups of four sides each and they will compete in a double-elimination format in a best-of-five series.

The top two teams from each group will progress to the grand finals. The four teams in Group 1 are Atlanta Reign, Boston Uprising, Hangzhou Spark, and London Spitfire, while Group B comprises the likes of Dallas Fuel, Florida Mayhem, Houston Outlaws, and Seoul Infernal.

Once the identity of the four teams participating in the grand finals are decided, the four finalists will compete in a single-elimination bracket.

The losers in the first two matches of the aforementioned bracket will feature in the third-place decider, while the winners will compete for the grand prize in the final.
