One of the most popular esports video game series, the Call of Duty’s latest installment, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released on November 10, 2023.

American video game publisher Activision Publishing has officially announced the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 release date through a 42 seconds trailer on August 7. 

The 41-second-long trailer which has the voice of the legendary COD character John Price also revealed the logo of Modern Warfare 3 and provided hints of the return of the notorious antagonist - Vladimir Makarov - a famous villain in the Call of Duty franchise.

The highly-anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be the direct sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which was released on October 28 last year.

How many platforms will Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 be on?

Just like the previous edition, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be available on  PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 editions

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be launched with two different editions - Standard and Premium. The Standard edition will be priced around $70, while the Premium edition will cost $100.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 game modes

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will feature three modes at the time of launch - Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies. 

Captain Price and Ghost are two COD characters that are confirmed to return to Modern Warfare 3. 

As mentioned above, the recurring character of Vladimir Makarov is also expected to make a return and feature in the upcoming edition.
