The BGMI Skyesports League 2024 LAN is scheduled to be held in Mumbai in March.
Organised by South Asia’s leading esports tournament organiser Skyesports, the Skyesports League 2024 will be one of the first major Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) eSports tournaments to be staged in 2024.
The Skyesports League 2024 will be a city-based league featuring a total of 16 teams. The on-ground event will be competed by top eSports teams representing 16 different cities based in the country.
Each city will be represented by a different eSports organisation, carefully selected by Skyesports based on past performance, contributions to the eSports ecosystem, and a commitment to producing localised content for the event.
Skyesports founder and CEO Shiva Nandy said, “The Skyesports League will be a celebration of India’s diversity and will include a regional and localized flavor never seen before in Indian eSports. Each team will be representing a different city from every nook and corner of the country, paving the way for more regional engagement while also bringing more content for fans.
As BGMI eSports becomes sport enjoyed across the country, it's important to celebrate and leverage India’s cultural diversity which we will be doing with the Skyesports League.”
The Skyesports League 2024 will be a multi-day on-ground esports event open to a live audience, allowing fans to cheer on their favorite teams, including the home squad of Mumbai Aces.
The BGMI tournament promises to be a blend of esports action, music videos, memes, and a celebration of localized culture, ensuring a jam-packed entertainment experience for fans.
