Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is one of the most popular battle royale games in India.

Developed and published by South Korean video game company Krafton, BGMI is an online multiplayer battle royale game that was first released for Android devices on July 2, 2021. It was later launched for iOS users on August 18, 2021.

While BGMI has over 100 million downloads on Google Play store, it was banned by the Indian government in July 2022 citing security concerns. The ban was later removed in May 2023.

As many as 100 gamers can compete in the Indian version of PUBG Mobile. The one who survives in the TPP-FPP survival shooter game is the winner. Individuals or a team of up to four gamers can play a match in BGMI.

With the return of BGMI in 2023, the players and gamers were only concerned about the return of the old BGMI points table system.

However, developer Krafton has introduced the new BGM points table system in 2024 starting with the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series Season 3.

Here’s everything you need to know about the new BGM points table system in 2024.

New BGM points table system in 2024

The new BGMI points table system in 2024 is very similar to its international version - PUBG Mobile. Here’s the new BGMI points table system that has been introduced in 2024.

  • 1st place – 10 points
  • 2nd place – 6 points
  • 3rd place – 5 points
  • 4th place – 4 points
  • 5th place – 3 points
  • 6th place – 2 points
  • 7th and 8th place – 1 point
  • 9th to 16th place – 0 points

As per the old BGMI points table system, teams would get 15 points after finishing first while second-placed teams would receive 12 points while the third-placed team would bag 10 placement points during each match.

Meanwhile, every team will get one finish point for every finish or kill in the game with the new BGMI points table system.

The team which has accumulated the highest number of finish points and placement points will be the winner at the end of a match.

The new BGMI points table system has been implemented to reward those players who are more aggressive.

Furthermore, kills have become more instrumental in securing victories in BGMI. The new BGMI points table system also aims to provide a more action-packed viewing experience for the fans.

With the successful implementation of the BGMI points table system in BGIS 2024, the new BGMI points table system is expected to be introduced in other third-party and tier 2 or 3 tournaments.

It must be noted that those who have mobile phones in 90 FPS will have the advantage to register more kills and be ultra aggressive.
