After the completion of Round 4 of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series Season 3, the BGIS 2024 Wildcard Entry began on May 30 and will run till June 2.
Organised by Krafton and Tesseract Esports, as many as 64 teams will compete in BGIS 2024 Wildcard Entry.
These participating teams include 16 teams from BGIS 2024 Round 3 and 48 teams from BGIS 2024 Round 4.
TWOB, Bolt Rushers, Super Novas, 4King Esports, Version 3, Team 7 Esports, RTGxIND, Tribe Hirdmen, RRHOBOLTZ Esports, Voltx Gaming, Jubilant Divine, NIY Esports, Windgod Esports, Remorseless, Team Zero and Livecraft Esports are the 16 teams that have qualified for BGIS 2024 Wildcard Entry from BGIS Round 3.
The likes of Team Forever, Medal Esports, GodLike Esports, TMG Gaming, Raw Official, Team UP50, RIP Mizo, 7Shore Esports, Galaxy Esports, New Version, Dcent Official, Vomex OMG, Infected Mushrooms, Big Brother Esports, PL Dominantors, Blind Esports, Genesis Esports, Dragon Claw, 47 Esports, IMPRNT Esports, Team VST, Team Aaru, Rivalry Esports, Raven Esports, ESCN Esports, Seven Hours, K9 Squad, GlitchxReborn, JUX Esports, Gujarat Tigers, Ghuso Esports, Carnival Gaming, Heros Gaming, LOC Esports, Entity Gaming, Alpha 6, MOGO Esports, THW Esports, WSB Gaming, RVNC Esports, Team Soul, Revenant Esports, TCW Official, Hail India, Rising Falcon, Inertia Esports, RNBxOutwit and Cratic Esports are the 48 teams that have qualified for BGIS 2024 Wildcard Entry from BGIS Round 4.
As per the BGIS 2024 Wildcard Entry format, these teams will be divided into four groups of 16 teams each.
Based on the overall standings, these teams will once again be split into four groups where each group will compete in three matches again for the next two days.
The top 16 teams based on the cumulative overall standings after all six matches will advance to the BGIS 2024 semi-final Week 1.
Krafton has also announced that the BGIS 2024 Grand Finals will be staged at the Hitex Exhibition Center in Hyderabad from June 28-30.
The BGIS 2024 has a total prize pool of a whopping INR 2 crore. The winner of the BGIS 2024 will receive a cash prize of INR 60 lakh while the runner-up will get INR 30 lakh.
The third and fourth-placed teams will get INR 20 lakh and INR 15 lakh, respectively.
