After the conclusion of Round 2 of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series Season 3, the BGIS 2024 Round 3 will start on May 16 and conclude on May 19.

Organised by Krafton and Tesseract Esports, this phase of the ongoing BGMI tournament will see as many as 256 teams participate.

Registration for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024 was completed on April 7 through the Krafton India Esports’ website.

BGIS 2024 Round 3 dates and format

The BGIS 2024 Round 3 will be a four-day affair from May 16 to 19. A total of 256 teams will compete in BGIS 2024 Round 3.

These participating teams include 240 teams from BGIS 2024 Round 2 and 16 teams from The Grind.

As per the BGIS 2024 Round 3 format, these teams have been divided into 16 groups with 16 squads in each group.

A total of 48 teams including the top three teams from each group will advance to BGIS 2024 Round 4. The top 16 teams among the remaining teams will move to Wildcard Entry.

Earlier, the BGIS 2024 Round 2 was staged from May 9 to 12. As many as 512 teams including 480 teams from BGIS 2024 Round 1 and 32 teams from The Grind took part in this round.

The top seven teams from each group plus the top 16 among the remaining teams (Total 240 teams) qualified for Round 3.

The BGIS 2024 Round 1 was staged from May 2 to 5. As many as 1024 teams from in-game qualifiers took part in the opening round of the main event.

Previously, BGIS 2024 The Grind ended on April 28 as 255 invited teams took part in the competition. 

BGIS 2024 The Grind, the qualifying event for Battlegrounds Mobile India Series Season 3, witnessed a total of 256 invited teams divided into 16 groups.

The top 64 teams based on the cumulative overall standings over four weeks qualified for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2024. 

Meanwhile, Krafton also hosted the BGIS 2024 In-Game Qualifiers from April 15 to 21.

Krafton has also banned several teams for violating the rules of the ongoing BGMI tournament during the first two rounds.

BGIS 2024 Round 3 points system

The BGIS 2024 Round 3 will be contested in a 10-point scoring system similar to the one in Round 1 and Round 2. Each WWCD winner of each match will get 10 points.

BGIS 2024 Round 3 total prize pool

The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 has a total prize pool of a whopping INR 2 crore.

The BGIS 2024 winner will bag a cash prize of INR 60 lakh while the runner-up will receive INR 30 lakh.

The third and fourth-placed teams will get INR 20 lakh and INR 15 lakh, respectively.
