The Battleground Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 semi-finals are scheduled to take place from October 4 to October 7 in Mumbai, India.

During these semi-finals, India’s top 32 BGMI teams will lock horns in their bid to secure a spot in the Grand Finals.

The four-day long BGIS 2023 semi-finals round from October 4 to 7 will feature the top 16 squads that qualified from Round 4 or the quarter-finals as well as 16 more squads from the Losers Bracket.

The identity of the 16 participating teams from the Losers Bracket will be determined after the 64 competing teams in the aforementioned bracket square off against each other from September 28 to October 1.

The 64 teams competing in the Losers Bracket include 16 teams from Round 3 and 48 from Round 4. 

Once these 64 teams collide against one another in the Losers Bracket, the 16 best teams from the bracket will qualify for the semi-finals and join the other 16 squads that already qualified from Round 4.

BGIS 2023 semi-finals format

In the semi-finals of BGIS 2023, the 32 qualified teams will be seeded into four groups of eight teams each and they will compete against each other in a round-robin format.

The top 16 teams from the four groups in the overall points table of the semi-finals will then progress to the Grand Finals, which boasts are prize pool of a whopping INR 2 crore to be distributed among the finalists on the basis of their rankings.

Live streaming of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) semi-finals 2023 will be available on the JioCinema app and website in India.

There will be no live telecast of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) semi-finals 2023 on any TV channel in India.
