The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Championship 2023 will start on September 6 and conclude on September 10.

Organised by Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment, as many as 40 teams will compete for the ALGS Championship 2023.

The ALGS Championship 2023 will be hosted at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

ALGS Championship 2023 format

The ALGS Championship 2023 will take place in three stages - Group Stage, Bracket Stage, and Finals.

The 40 participating teams will be divided into four groups of 10 teams each. As per the ALGS Championship 2023 format, each group will play each other in a six-game series for a total of 18 games for every team in the group stage.

Following the completion of the ALGS Championship 2023 Group Stage, all 40 teams will be sent to the Bracket Stage. A total of 20 teams with the highest Group Stage score start in the winners bracket, while the remaining 20 teams with the lowest Group Stage score will feature in the losers bracket round 1.

In the ALGS Championship 2023 Bracket Stage, there will be one eight-game series in the winners bracket and two eight-game series in the losers bracket.

The top 10 teams from the winners bracket will progress to the ALGS Championship 2023 finals, while the remaining teams from this round will drop to the losers bracket round 2. 

In the losers bracket round 1, the top 10 teams will move to the losers bracket round 2. 

The other teams from this round will be knocked out from the championship race.The top 10 teams from the losers bracket round 2 will advance to the Finals. The remaining teams from this round will be eliminated from the championship.

The ALGS Championship 2023 Finals will be contested using the Match Point format with as many as 20 teams competing for the ALGS Championship 2023 title. 

As per the tournament rules, the 10 teams from the winners bracket will be seeded by their placement and will start the Finals with Advance Starting Points.

ALGS Championship 2023 Prize Pool

The Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Championship 2023 has a total prize pool of $2,000,000 USD. 

The winner of the championship will be awarded a cash prize of $600,000 USD. The second-placed and third-placed teams will receive $320,000 USD and $210,000 USD, respectively.
