South Korea seeks host city for 2026 LoL Mid-Season Invitational

South Korea is looking for a city to host the 2026 League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational (MSI). The country’s esports federation, KeSPA, is asking cities to submit bids for the event from late June to mid-July 2026.
They want one area to handle the main tournament and its qualifier. Cities offering to host both will get a bonus in the selection process. They plan to choose the host city by November 2025.
KeSPA requires venues that seat 3,000 to 5,000 people and hotels nearby with at least 500 rooms. The site must also be available for a whole month to set up and take down the stage and equipment.
Busan and Seoul have strong chances, thanks to their history of hosting major tournaments. Cities must also show clear plans for budget, transport, and local events to help boost tourism.
