Astralis’ Counter-Strike in-game leader, Casper ‘cadiaN’ Møller, and sports director Kasper Straube were dismissed from their team roles despite the upcoming PGL Astana. The announcement was made by Astralis’ official X (formerly Twitter) account on April 22, 2025.

In their post, Astralis CEO Jakob Hansen said, ‘As a consequence of our lacklustre results, culminating in the missed Major qualification, we are today parting ways with Sports Director Kasper Straube and In-Game Leader Casper ‘cadiaN’ Møller’.

Despite promising results in the previous tournaments, such as the BLAST Premier: World Final and PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, the team still failed to qualify for the Austin Major. This disappointment led to the management deciding to sack cadiaN and Kasper Straube.

As a replacement for the dismissed IGL, Rasmus ‘HooXi’ Nielsen will act as a stand-in since the PGL Astana is nearing. The fellow Dane will immediately be inserted into the team as early as Wednesday, April 23.
