Under-19 Tri-series featuring India, Bangladesh to be played in Kolkata - get full schedule

The upcoming Under-19 Triangular series between India A, India B and Bangladesh is scheduled to start on November 28 and run till December 7 in Kolkata. 

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the two Indian squads that will feature in the tri-series. While SK Rasheed has been named the captain of the India U-19 A team, Aneeshwar Gautam will lead the India U-19 B side.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is yet to pick their U-19 squad for the series. 

The tri-series will provide a platform for all the players taking part in it to showcase their talent and stake a claim in the squad for next year’s Under-19 T20 World Cup.

As per the schedule, each team will play the other two teams twice in the league phase before the two best-placed teams will qualify for the final.

Interestingly, India and Bangladesh had faced each other in the final of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in South Africa last year where the Bangla Tigers stunned the Men in Blue by three wickets to claim their maiden U-19 World Cup title.
