Legendary batsman and former India captain Sachin Tendulkar has tested positive for the global virus.
The world's highest run-getter in Test and ODI cricket took to Twitter to reveal the news and further stated that he has quarantined himself at home as advised by the doctors.

"I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay," the 47-year-old said.
"However, I've tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative."
"I've quarantined myself at home and am following all the necessary protocols as advised by my doctor," the Little Master added.
"I want to thank all the healthcare professionals who are supporting me and many others across the country. Take care all of you," he concluded.
Tendulkar was recently seen in action during the Road Safety World Series, where he led the India Legends to the title by beating Sri Lanka Legends in the finals.
Having retired from international cricket in 2013, the ‘Master Blaster’ amassed 15921 runs in 200 Tests at an average of 53.79 while he accumulated 18426 runs in 463 ODIs at an average of 44.83.
The right-handed batsman is the only cricketer to play 200 Test matches and record 100 international centuries across formats, 51 in Tests, 49 in ODIs.
