The Pakistan Cup Women’s Cricket Tournament 2023 is all set to get underway on Friday, May 19.

The tournament comprises two phases and will feature T20 matches as well as One-Day fixtures over the course of the competition.

The first phase of the tournament which comprises T20 matches will take place from May 19 to 21 and will be held at the State Bank Ground and Oval Academy Ground.

Four teams will compete in the T20 tournament and these sides are Dynamites, Blasters, Challengers, and Strikers.

The first phase of the competition which is the T20 tournament will be contested in a round-robin format where all sides meet each other once. 

A total of six games will be played in the tournament and the top side in the standings at the end of all the matches will be declared the winner.

These fixtures are also likely to serve as preparation for Pakistan’s upcoming ACC Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup tournament, which is a multi-nation series.

Following the conclusion of the three-day T20 tournament, the One-Day fixtures will begin on May 23 and will run till June 4.

The three teams participating in the 50-over competition are Blasters, Dynamites, and Challengers.

Seven matches will be played in the One-Day tournament with all teams squaring off against each other twice in a double round-robin format. 

The top two teams after the double round-robin fixtures will then compete in the final. The One-Day tournament will run from May 23 to June 4 and all the matches will be held at the State Bank Ground in Karachi.

Live streaming of the Pakistan Cup Women’s Cricket Tournament 2023 will be available on the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) YouTube channel.

There will be no live telecast of the Pakistan Cup Women’s Cricket Tournament 2023 on any TV channel in India.
