The Zimbabwe women's national cricket team will host Papua New Guinea Women in a three-match T20 international series starting on Saturday, March 30.

As per the Zimbabwe Women vs Papua New Guinea Women T20 2024 schedule, all three games will be played at the Harare Sports Club on March 30, 31 and April 2.

Zimbabwe Women will head into the T20 series high on confidence after thrashing PNG Women 3-0 in the recently-concluded three-match ODI series.

Led by captain Mary-Anne Musonda, Zimbabwe Women earlier won the Africa Games 2023 after beating South Africa Women in the final in a Super Over.

Zimbabwe Women are currently ranked 13th in the ICC Women’s T20I team rankings and will aim to continue their dominance over PNG Women in the upcoming three-match series.

On the other hand, the Papua New Guinea women's national cricket team impressed against Zimbabwe in their first-ever Women’s ODI series despite a series defeat. 

The visitors will once again be led by their captain Brenda Tau in the T20I series. 

Meanwhile, PNG Women are placed two places above Zimbabwe Women on the 11th spot in the ICC Women’s T20I team rankings. 

Zimbabwe Women vs Papua New Guinea Women T20 head-to-head 

Zimbabwe Women defeated Papua New Guinea Women by eight wickets in their only meeting during an ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier at the Tolerance Oval in September 2022.

Electing to bat first, PNG Women were bowled out for 83 in 18 overs. Later, Zimbabwe Women chased down the required target in 14.4 overs to register a comprehensive victory in Abu Dhabi.
