The Zimbabwe Women vs Ireland Women T20Is 2024 will start on January 26 and run till February 2 in Harare, Zimbabwe.
After a disappointing ODI series, Zimbabwe Women will host Ireland for a five-match T20I series at home. Currently, the hosts are ranked 11th in the ICC Women’s T20I rankings, while Ireland are placed 10th in the rankings.
As far as the head-to-head battle is concerned, the Irish won the one-off T20I against the Chevrons by four runs in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier 2022.
Mary-Anne Musonda will lead the hosts in the five upcoming T20Is. Despite recent downfalls, Ashley Ndiraya (113 runs) and Loreen Tshuma (4 wickets) delivered fruitful returns in the ODIs against Ireland Women.
Meanwhile, the Laura Delany-led Ireland will enter the T20Is with a promising ODI series win against Zimbabwe Women. Gaby Lewis (115 runs) and Cara Murray (10 wickets) were the top performers for them in the 50-over games.
As per the Zimbabwe Women vs Ireland Women T20Is 2024 schedule, the opening fixture of the series will be played at Harare Sports Club on January 26. The final T20I is scheduled to be played on February 2.
