Zimbabwe take on Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series starting from July 22 to July 25 at the Harare Sports Club.
The series was originally scheduled between July 23 to July 27, but the Zimbabwe Cricket Board announced the changes in dates to ‘address the scheduling and logistical challenges the tour’s broadcast production company was facing’.
“Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have agreed to bring forward the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series between their senior men’s national teams in Harare,” ZC said in a release.
“The matches will now be played on 22, 23 and 25 July at Harare Sports Club, not on 23, 25 and 27 July as originally scheduled. ZC and the BCB agreed to adjust the fixtures in to address the scheduling and logistical challenges that the tour’s broadcast production company was facing,” the release added.

The two teams are currently engaged in a three-match ODI series, which Bangladesh have already won. The Bangla Tigers have, in fact, dominated the tour, winning the one-off Test by 220 runs. The tourists followed the Test victory with back-to-back wins in the 50-over format and are on the verge of a 3-0 whitewash in the ODI series.
Bangladesh will view the upcoming T20I series as part of their preparation for the 20-over World Cup in October. After the Zimbabwe series, they take on Australia in a five-match T20I series in August before facing New Zealand in just as many T20Is in September.
Prior to the T20I World Cup, they will lock horns with England in a three-match T20I series in October.
