Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has landed himself in big trouble following the comments on Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav during a live chat with opener Rohit Sharma.

During the session, the former Indian middle-order batsman was discussing Chahal’s TikTok videos before he made the casteist remark against Chahal and Kuldeep by calling them ‘bhangi’.

This hasn’t gone down well with a few Dalit rights activists in Haryana. The situation has, in fact, gone on to the extent that one of the activists, Rajat Kalsan, who also happens to be an advocate, has filed a police complaint against Yuvraj Singh in Hansi in Hisar, Haryana.

After the complaint was lodged, Kalsan also took a jibe at Rohit Sharma, saying that the opener should have opposed what Yuvraj said. As things stand, the advocate has demanded the arrest of Yuvraj Singh and has also mentioned that all the proof will be handed over to the police.

Meanwhile, Hansi SP Lokendra Singh has commented that the issue has been forwarded for investigation to the DSP. He also said that the actions will only be taken after the investigation.

The video recently went viral on the internet, and the fans were quick to point out the poor choice of words. On Tuesday, #YuvrajSinghMaafiMaango (#YuvrajSinghApologise) started doing rounds on Twitter and there were more than 26,000 tweets with the hashtag.
