Organised by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), the 2023 Women's 100-ball League is scheduled to be played from August 1 to August 27. Nottingham Women and Southampton Women will be up against each other in the curtain raiser of the tournament at Trent Bridge.
Lord’s London Women, Oval London Women, Leeds Women, Birmingham Women, Cardiff Women, and Manchester Women are the other six teams participating in the tournament.
Indian batter Jemimah Rodrigues will return to the Leeds-based franchise for a third successive season, while Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, and Richa Ghosh are some of the other Indian players who will feature in the competition.
As per the fixtures, each team will play eight matches in the league phase - four games at home and four away. An Eliminator and the Final will follow the 32 league games.
The team finishing on top of the league stage table will advance straight to the final, while the teams finishing second and third will fight it out in the Eliminator to become the second finalist.
The two finalists will take on each other at Lord's on August 27 to clinch the Women's 100-ball League 2023. Reigning champions Oval London defeated Southampton by five wickets in the final last year.
