West Indies will host Ireland for a three-match ODI series starting on Saturday, January 8. The upcoming series will be part of the World Cup Super League cycle.

Ahead of the series, Ireland announced that all-rounder Paul Stirling tested positive for COVID-19 and will sit out the first ODI.

Andy Balbirnie, who will captain the Ireland team for the ODI series, joined the touring party alongside Andy McBrine on January 2, after completing their mandatory isolation period as they were in close contact with Stirling and Shane Getkate.

West Indies, meanwhile, will welcome back Kieron Pollard to the squad after the towering all-rounder missed the tour of Pakistan with a hamstring injury. Jason Holder will also make a comeback to the West Indies ODI squad but Andre Russell missed the cut.
