Sussex will square off against defending champions Kent in match 19 of the Vitality T20 Blast 2022 at County Ground in Hove on Sunday, May 29. The match will start at 7:00 PM IST (Indian Standard Time).
Led by wicket-keeper batter Sam Billings, Kent defeated Somerset by 25 runs in the final to clinch the Vitality T20 Blast title last year. Earlier, Kent had topped the South Group standings, registering nine wins and four losses in 14 matches.
On the other hand, Sussex had finished third in the South Group standings last season with 17 points from 14 matches. The Luke Wright-led side had lost to Kent by 21 runs in the semi-finals last year.
