The much-awaited Victoria Women T20 Series 2023 will be played at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala, Uganda from April 18 to April 23. All matches will be available for live streaming.

This will be the second edition of the Victoria Women T20 Series 2023 and the tournament will be used by the participating teams to prepare for the 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier.

The teams participating in this year's edition are Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, UAE and hosts Uganda. Zimbabwe, who won the inaugural edition in 2019, will miss the series this year due to other commitments.

Each team will play the other team once during the tournament in a round-robin format. The top two teams at the end of the league stage will progress to the final to be held on April 23.

The UAE, 15th in the ICC Women's T20I Rankings rankings for women, is the top side in the competition. Tanzania is ranked 16th followed by Uganda (21), Kenya (23) and Rwanda (26).

A total of 11 matches will be played over six days. Two matches will be held daily for five days followed by the final.

The UAE women’s cricket team will lock horns with Kenya in the opening match of the tournament at 12:00 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) on April 18.

Hosts Uganda will play their first match of the tournament against Rwanda later on the same day. Live streaming of all the matches will be available in India.
