The thrilling encounter between England U19s and India U19s in the second one-day international at Northampton showcased dramatic cricketing action and individual brilliance. Thomas Rew hit a blazing 131 runs off 89 balls as England beat India by one wicket in a tense finish at Northampton.

India made 290 in 49 overs, led by Malhotra’s 49 and a 78-run from Kumar and Chouhan. England’s bowlers gave up 26 runs in wides, but Alex French took 4 for 71 to hold India back.

England was struggling at 47 for 3, but Rew and Rocky Flintoff (39) added 123 runs. Rew broke the U19 record for fastest England ton, hitting 100 off 73 balls, beating Ben Foakes’ 2012 mark.

Despite England being nine wickets down, Middlesex's Seb Morgan's composed boundary in the final over sealed the win with three balls to spare.
