Tanzania Women's Premier League 2023 is all set to begin on Saturday, October 14 with Mount Meru Queens taking on Usambara Queens in the opening clash of the tournament.
Organised by the Tanzania Cricket Association, the 2023 edition of the tournament is the inaugural edition of the competition and it will end on Sunday, November 5.
The four teams that are taking part in the Tanzania Women's Premier League 2023 are Mount Meru Queens, Usambara Queens, Ngorongoro Queens, and Kilimanjaro Queens.
A total of 22 matches will be played in this tournament with all the teams competing against each other thrice in a round-robin format, making for as many as nine games for all sides in the league stage.
After the conclusion of the league stage, the top two teams in the standings will clash in Qualifier 1 while the third and fourth-placed teams will square off in the Eliminator.
While the winner of Qualifier 1 will progress directly to the final, the losing team from that contest will face off against the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2 for the remaining spot in the final.
All matches in Tanzania Women's Premier League 2023 will be played at Leader's Club Ground in Dar es Salaam.

There will be no live telecast of the Tanzania Women's Premier League 2023 on any TV channel in India.
