Tanzania Cricket Premier League 2023 is all set to begin on Monday, October 16 with Buffalo Blasters facing Twiga Titans in the opening clash of the tournament.
Organised by the Tanzania Cricket Association, the 2023 edition of the Tanzania Cricket Premier League will end on Sunday, November 5.
The five teams participating in the Tanzania Cricket Premier League 2023 are Buffalo Blasters, Twiga Titans, Chui Challengers, Simba Kings, and Royal Rhinos.
A total of 25 matches will be played in this tournament with all the teams competing against each other twice in a round-robin format, making for as many as eight games for all sides in the league stage.
Following the culmination of the league stage, the top two sides in the standings will clash in Qualifier 1 while the third and fourth-placed teams will face off in the Eliminator.
The winner of Qualifier 1 will move directly to the final, while the losing team from that contest will square off against the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2 for the other spot in the final.
All matches in Tanzania Cricket Premier League 2023 will be played at Leader's Club Ground in Dar es Salaam.
