Table-toppers Saffron Strikers (SS) take on Nutmeg Warriors (NW) in the first semi-final of the Spice Isle T10 tournament on Thursday, June 10, at the National Cricket Stadium in St George’s, Grenada.

SS topped the table with 15 points in their kitty and are on a five-match unbeaten streak. They had earlier defeated NW by six wickets in a high-scoring encounter. Their net run rate is also the best among all the teams.

NW have had a stop-start campaign so far where in spite of all the heavy-duty performers, they have not had a convincing run of results and finished fourth on the table. They finished with nine points with four wins and five losses in their 10 matches.

SS vs NW Dream11 prediction

Both sides have had contrasting fortunes until this stage and it is SS that holds a clear edge over NW in terms of not only form, but also from a psychological point of view due to past results between the two sides. SS will head into the semis with plenty of confidence and should be able to nail down a spot in the final without much resistance.

SS vs NW best players to pick for Spice Isle T10 fantasy team

Top tip: Best batsmen

Mickel Joseph is the batsman to watch out for from SS. He scored a 19-ball 31 against Ginger Generals and also made a strokeful 18-ball 35 versus the Warriors in his last outing. Joseph can prove to be a very smart pick in your fantasy team.

NW opener Seandell Regis is also a great pick in the batting department. He scored a 24-ball 49 against the Strikers previously and will be looking to produce another solid showing. Regis also hit a 30-ball 46 versus the Bay Leaf Blasters.

Top tip: Best bowlers

John Olive has been a consistent contributor with the ball for SS. He has a best of 3/10 against the Cinnamon Pacers and took 2/23 against the Warriors in their last match. Olive is definitely one to watch out for.

Darel Cyrus is the bowler to watch out for in the NW camp. He took 2/17 against the Bay Leaf Blasters and looks in good form. Cyrus could be a wise pick in your fantasy team.

Top tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper

Andre Fletcher is the best bet in the all-rounder category. The hard-hitting batsman smashed an unbeaten 32-ball 67 against the Clove Challengers and has a 14-ball 38 to his name against the Strikers from the last time the two sides met. Fletcher is also handy with the ball and has a four-wicket haul to his name in the tournament.

Lendon Lawrence is a fine pick for the wicket-keeping slot. He is attacking at the top of the order and his last three scores are 29, 55, and 48. All of them have come at a strike rate of more than 150 and he’s also been brilliant behind the stumps.
