Live streaming, Sri Lanka Women vs West Indies Women T20 2024 begins on June 24: Where to watch in India

The Sri Lanka women's national cricket team will host West Indies in a three-match T20 international series starting on Monday, June 24. 

As per the Sri Lanka Women vs West Indies Women T20 2024 schedule, all three games will be played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium in Hambantota.

Ranked seventh in the ICC women’s T20I team rankings, Sri Lanka Women will head into the series brimming with confidence after registering a 3-0 whitewash over West Indies Women in the recently-concluded three-match ODI series.

Vishmi Gunaratne (134 runs) and captain Chamari Athapaththu (130 runs) were the standout batters for Sri Lanka in the 50-over series.

In the bowling department, Kavisha Dilhari, Sugandika Kumari and Sachini Nisansala bagged the most wickets for the hosts.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Women will aim to make use of the upcoming series to prepare themselves for the T20 Asia Cup 2024 which is scheduled to start on July 19 in Sri Lanka. 

On the other hand, the West Indies women's cricket team will look to bounce back in the upcoming three-match T20I series.

Currently ranked sixth in the ICC women’s T20I team rankings, West Indies Women earlier defeated hosts Pakistan 4-1 in a five-match T20I series in May.

Ahead of the series, West Indies have announced their 15-member squad to be led by Hayley Matthews.

Sri Lanka Women vs West Indies Women T20 head-to-head 

West Indies Women have a dominant head-to-head record against Sri Lanka Women in T20 international cricket, winning 18 of the 23 matches that they have played so far. On the other hand, Sri Lanka Women have registered just four victories so far. One game ended with no result.

The last time these two sides met, West Indies Women thrashed Sri Lanka Women by 83 runs in an ICC Women's T20 World Cup clash in Gros Islet in November 2018.
