Sri Lanka will take on West Indies in a two-match Test series starting from November 21. The second and final Test of the series will be played from November 29 and these matches will be a part of the World Test Championship 2021-23 cycle.
The two teams last clashed in March-April 2021 in the Caribbean for a two-match Test series that ended in draws.
Uncapped West Indies opener Jeremy Solozano, who represented the Caribbean nation at the 2014 U-19 World Cup, finds his name in the 15-man squad to tour the subcontinent.
Left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul, who last played a Test in 2015 has been recalled to the West Indies side.
The tourists were supposed to play a four-day warm-up match against Sri Lanka Board Presidents XI but the match was called off due to rain.
Both Tests matches will be held at the Galle International Stadium and Dimuth Karunaratne looks set to lead a relatively young Sri Lankan side.
