SL vs NED Dream11 prediction for ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2023 final

Both Sri Lanka and Netherlands have already booked their place in the ICC World Cup 2023 after finishing as the top two teams in the ongoing qualifiers.

Sri Lanka have been the most dominant team in the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2023. The Dasun Shanaka-led side remained unbeaten in the qualifiers as they finished at the top of the Super Sixes standings with 10 points from five matches.

On the other hand, the Netherlands national cricket team defeated Scotland by four wickets in their final Super Sixes match to qualify for the ICC World Cup 2023. Led by captain Scott Edwards, the Netherlands pipped the likes of Scotland, Zimbabwe, and West Indies to finish second in the Super Sixes standings with six points from five matches.

Sri Lanka will start as overwhelming favourites against the Netherlands heading into the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2023 final on Sunday. They have never lost to the Netherlands in ODI cricket, winning all their four matches so far.

Furthermore, Sri Lanka beat Netherlands by 21 runs in their Super Sixes clash of the ongoing qualifiers in Bulawayo.

SL vs NED Dream11 team tips for ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2023 final

Top Tip: Best batter

Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka has been the second-highest run-getter in the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers 2023. The young opening batter slammed a scintillating hundred (104) against West Indies in their last match. Nissanka has already amassed 394 runs in seven matches at an impressive average of 78.80. Having accrued 519 fantasy points, Nissanka, who has two centuries in the ongoing tournament, will be a great pick for the final at 8.5 credits.

Top Tip: Best bowler

Sri Lanka’s Maheesh Theekshana will be the overwhelming choice among the quality bowlers on display. The right-arm off-spinner bagged a four-wicket haul against the Windies in their previous fixture. Theekshana has been in sensational form, having picked up 17 wickets in seven matches at an average of 13.24. The Sri Lankan spinner has already accumulated 645 fantasy points and will be a wise pick at 8.5 credits.

Top Tip: Best all-rounder and wicket-keeper

As far as all-rounders are concerned, picking Netherlands’ Bas de Leede in any fantasy team is a no-brainer. Bas de Leede smashed 123 runs off just 92 balls to help his side chase down 278 against Scotland and grab the final spot in the ODI World Cup. Earlier, the 23-year-old all-rounder scalped a five-wicket haul to restrict Scotland to 277/9. Bas de Leede has been the biggest match-winner in the ongoing qualifiers, having scored 285 runs and claimed 15 wickets so far. The NED all-rounder has racked up 802 fantasy points and will be a quality investment at 9 credits.

For the wicketkeeper spot, Netherlands captain Scott Edwards will be the preferred choice over Kusal Mendis of Sri Lanka. Apart from fulfilling his wicket-keeping and captaincy responsibilities, Edwards has led from the front with the bat. He has scored 313 runs in six innings at an average of 78.25. At 9 credits, Edwards could be a great fantasy pick for the final.
