Defending champions South Castries Lions (SCL) got off to a losing start in the St Lucia T10 2021, dropping points against Daren Sammy’s Micoud Eagles in their opening game of the season. Up next for them stands Central Castries Mindoo Heritage (CCMH), a team that faced similar fortune in their tournament opener.
SCL put on a substandard show against Micoud Eagles in their opening match with none of their batsmen managing to cross even the 15-run mark. CCMH, on the other hand, did produce an excellent batting show in their opening game, but were let down by their bowlers.

SCL captain Johson Charles is indeed the best player to pick from the team. He may be a tad bit expensive, but he is most likely to get you the most points too. In his last game, the opener returned with 24 points.
From CCMH, Dwight Thomas is the man to pick. He might arrive a bit down the order, but he is someone who has enjoyed a fine run of form. In his last match, he scored 27 off just 15 balls.
Top Tip: Best Bowlers
Only a select few bowlers from SCL were decent in their previous outing and 15-year-old Aaron Joseph stood out from the lot. The youngster picked a wicket and gave away just nine runs in his spell.
For CCMH, Sanjay Hayle returned with the exact figure of Joseph in his last outing. He picked a wicket and conceded nine. Valued at 8.5 credits, Hayle is a gamble worth taking.
Top Tip: All Rounders and wicket-keeper
None of the all-rounders, apart from Shervon Leo of SCL, managed to put on a terrific display in their previous game. Leo, on his part, was brilliant, to say the least, as he ended up picking two wickets. Goes without saying that he deserves a place in your team.
As far as wicket-keepers are concerned, there might be a couple of good options from CCMH to choose from, but the safest bet here is Gaspard Prospere given that he is coming on the back of a brilliant knock.
